Pamela Tulizo est une photographe et documentariste basée à Goma, dans l’est de la République démocratique du Congo. Lauréate du Dior Photography & Visual Arts Award for Young Talents en 2020, son travail explore la force, la résilience et le pouvoir des femmes africaines, à travers une photographie qui mêle documentaire et mise en scène. Formée au Market Photo Workshop en Afrique du Sud, elle questionne l’identité féminine et les normes sociales en créant des images empreintes de symbolisme et de narration.

Pamela Tulizo is a photographer and documentary artist based in Goma, in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Winner of the Dior Photography & Visual Arts Award for Young Talents in 2020, her work explores the strength, resilience, and power of African women through a practice that blends documentary and staged photography. Trained at the Market Photo Workshop in South Africa, she questions female identity and social norms by creating images rich in symbolism and narrative.
