Je suis professeure de droit privé à la Faculté de droit de l’Université catholique de Bukavu et à l’Institut Supérieur de Développement Rural à Bukavu. Je suis aussi professeure invitée à l’Université Evangélique en Afrique, à l’Université Officielle de Bukavu, l’Université Notre Dame du Tanganyika à Uvira, à l’Université de Goma, à l’Université catholique La Sapientia de Goma, à l’Université Libre des Pays des Grands Lacs de Goma et à l’Institut Supérieur d’Informatique et de Gestion de Goma.
Outre l’enseignement, je suis Cheffe de Département de droit privé à la Faculté de droit de l’Université catholique de Bukavu et Cheffe de Département genre et développement durable à l’Institut Supérieur de Développement rural à Bukavu.
Je suis Docteure en Sciences juridiques et j’ai défendu ma thèse à l’Université Catholique de Louvain. Mes recherches doctorales ont porté sur « La protection de la veuve en République Démocratique du Congo. Quelle effectivité ? ». En plus de mon diplôme de Licence en droit de l’Université Catholique de Bukavu, je suis détentrice d’un Master Complémentaire en droits de l’homme de l’Académie Louvain (Belgique). Avocate au Barreau du Sud-Kivu, je suis également Consultante et Spécialiste de questions de Genre, Droits de la femme et de l’enfant, Médiation familiale et Questions coutumières.
Actuellement, Membre du Comité Scientifique du Réseau Francophone des Femmes Responsables dans l’Enseignement Supérieur et la Recherche (RESUFF) et de l’Association Femme & Law (Belgique).
Je suis également mariée et mère de trois garçons et deux filles. Couple coordonnateur adjoint de l’Apostolat du Couple et de la Famille (ACF) au sein du Diocèse de Bukavu.

I am a Professor of Private Law at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Bukavu and at the Higher Institute of Rural Development in Bukavu. I am also a visiting professor at the Evangelical University in Africa, the Official University of Bukavu, the University of Notre Dame of Tanganyika in Uvira, the University of Goma, the Catholic University La Sapientia of Goma, the Free University of the Great Lakes Countries in Goma, and the Higher Institute of Computer Science and Management in Goma.
Beyond teaching, I serve as the Head of the Private Law Department at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Bukavu and as the Head of the Gender and Sustainable Development Department at the Higher Institute of Rural Development in Bukavu.
I hold a PhD in Legal Sciences and defended my dissertation at the Catholic University of Louvain. My doctoral research focused on “The Protection of Widows in the Democratic Republic of Congo: How effective is it?" In addition to my Law degree from the Catholic University of Bukavu, I also hold a Master's in Human Rights from the Louvain Academy (Belgium).
A lawyer and member of the South Kivu Bar Association, I am also a consultant and specialist in gender issues, women's and children's rights, family mediation, and customary matters.
Currently, I am a member of the Scientific Committee of the Francophone Network of Women Leaders in Higher Education and Research (RESUFF) and of the Femme & Law Association (Belgium).
I am also married and the mother of three boys and two girls. Assistant Couple Coordinator of Couples and Families (ACF) within the Diocese of Bukavu.
