Toluwase Victor Asubiaro is the president of the African Research Visibility Initiative (AfricaRVI) based in Calgary, Canada. One of AfricaRVI’s key objectives is to organize scholarly information about and from Africa into a searchable database. Asubiaro is a distinguished scholar in the field of Library and Information Science, holding a doctorate from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. His research focuses on informetrics, bibliometrics, and the visibility of African research in global databases. He has significantly contributed to make people understand the importance of the coverage of African journals in international databases and the impact of collaboration on research visibility.
