Born on February 27, 1980, in Ouagadougou, Tiéwendé Jean Balima is a Secondary Education Inspector (IES) and a doctoral candidate in the history of international relations at Joseph Ki-Zerbo University. He has devoted his professional career and academic training to advancing research in environmental education, North–South relations, and development cooperation.
Since 2019, Mr. Balima has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes and has contributed to scholarly debate through papers presented at academic conferences. Beyond the strictly academic sphere, his expertise also encompasses the promotion of inclusive education, gender equality, and girls’ education. He is affiliated with the firm 2PB-Formation, where he is involved in the initial and continuing training of national education personnel in Burkina Faso.
