sara.mejdoubi@uir.ac.maA linguist specializing in political discourse analysis, she earned her PhD in Discourse and Language Sciences in 2013 from Mohammed V University in Rabat. She is a professor at Sciences Po Rabat (UIR), a researcher at the Center for Global Studies (UIR), an associate member of the Bases, Corpus, Langage laboratory (CNRS–France), an associate member of the ELLIADD laboratory (France), and a member of the scientific committee of the International Joint Research Laboratory (MOVIDA). Sara Mejdoubi teaches the history of rhetoric, political communication, political discourse analysis, and research methodology.
She also serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal Global Africa (based in Saint-Louis, Senegal). Her publications and academic engagements, both national and international, focus on the analysis of political discourse through semantic, semiotic, and discourse-analytic approaches.
