Ruth Vanié is a master's student in human and economic geography at the Institute of Tropical Geography (IGT) at Félix Houphouët-Boigny University (UFHB) in Abidjan. She is an intern within the interdisciplinary project "ANR APIMAMA" (2022-2025) and conducts semi-structured interviews with groups of women overexposed to atmospheric pollution in Abidjan, due to their use of polluting combustion energies (wood, charcoal) for domestic and commercial practices. She is currently writing her thesis on this topic.
