Professor Rigobert Minani Bihuzo S.J. is a professor at the Loyola University of Congo (ULC). He is the head of the research sector on peace, democracy, and good governance at the Center for Studies in Social Action (CEPAS) in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He has followed peace talks in the DRC since the inter-Congolese dialogue in 2002 at Sun City, up to the M23 dialogue in 2013, and has published books and articles on the subject. He has received several distinctions, including a fellowship from the Woodrow Wilson Center (2019), the "Young Leaders Sasakawa Prize 2007" (Tokyo, 2008), and the "Change Maker Award 2005" (DIAKONIA, Stockholm). His latest publication (2021) is titled Challenges of Peacebuilding in the DRC and the Church’s Involvement. Professor Minani holds several degrees, including a PhD in political, social, and economic sciences from the Catholic Institute of Paris (ICP).
