Olivia Bertelli is a lecturer at the Economics Laboratory (LEDa) of the University of Paris-Dauphine, PSL, DIAL team (Development, Institutions, Mondialisation). She defended her thesis in 2016 at the Paris School of Economics, then obtained a lecturer position at the University of Lancaster (UK), before joining Paris-Dauphine in 2017. Her research is in the field of development economics focuses on issues of agricultural production, gender economics and conflict. She has co-directed several research projects in Uganda, Mali, Nepal and Yemen. Since 2021 she has been head of the Master in Quantitative Economics and since 2019 she has been leading LEDa's development economics research seminar. She is a member of the steering committee of the Association Française d'Economie du Développement.
