PhD candidate in Political Science, Mouhammad Dieng focuses his research on contemporary issues related to youth employment in Senegal. His dissertation specifically examines the professional integration trajectories of graduates from the Higher Institutes of Professional Education (ISEP), while questioning the effectiveness of public policies on technical training and their ability to address the structural challenges of the labor market.
He is a research fellow at the Laboratoire d’Analyse des Sociétés et Pouvoirs – Afrique/Diasporas (LASPAD) at Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis, where he contributes to research on social dynamics and public policies in Africa, as well as on mechanisms of employment integration and governance. In parallel, he also serves as a copyeditor for the scientific journal Global Africa.
