Morgane Gonon is a PhD candidate in Ecological Economics at Université Paris-Saclay and the Centre international de recherche sur l’environnement et le développement (CIRED). Her research focuses on international financial flows for biodiversity, particularly carbon and biodiversity credits, debt-for-nature swaps, and development aid. Combining political economy, institutional analysis, and macroeconomic modelling, her work draws on case studies in Senegal and Colombia.
