Mohamed Farès is a PhD candidate in Islamology: Muslim Hagiography (the case of the Ibadhi) at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Tunis. He has been serving as an emeritus principal teacher of exceptional rank at the Ministry of Education since 1997. He teaches, notably, at the Higher Institute of Human Sciences of Médenine (ISSHM) and the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Tataouine (ISAMT). His main areas of interest are religious phenomena and the anthropology of the Arab-Mediterranean culture. He has published more than ten articles on this subject and contributed to the publication of books. Mohamed Farès has been the Vice-President of the Pen League association in Médenine since 2014.
