Her work focuses on the history of collections (of photographs, ethnographic objects and works of art) from East Africa. By recreating their trajectories, from their compilation to their dispersal, he raises questions linked to the use of the past and the writing of history as well as to processes of transmission and reparation in diasporic situations. A lecturer at Paris 8 University, she is co-founder of the online journal Trouble dans les collections.
