Jessica Hagen-Zanker is a Senior Research Fellow at ODI in London, leading ODI’s migration research. She holds a PhD in Public Policy from Maastricht University. Jessica's research focuses on understanding how migration, economic and social policies affect migrant Decision-making, the impact of migration on migrants and their families, and on the interlinkages between migration and social protection. Her research and advisory work at ODI draws on mixed methods and covers a diverse range of countries, including Albania, Ethiopia, and Nepal. Jessica also has extensive experience in the design and analysis of household surveys, conducting systematic literature reviews and the analysis of social protection programmes and policies. Jessica also is a Global Fellow at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO).
