Tshibwabwa-Kuditshini Jacques is a renowned Professor at the Department of Political Science at Université de Kinshasa, where he holds the rank of Full Professor. He also teaches at the doctoral level, focusing on qualitative methodology seminars, in addition to offering courses in territorial planning, gender theory, and social inequalities at the Master's level.

Dr. Tshibwabwa-Kuditshini holds a PhD in political science, with a thesis titled "Elections and Gendered Democracy in the DRC." His academic work explores themes like gender, political governance, and the dynamics of territories in conflict-ridden states, especially those impacted by illegal exploitation of natural resources. His research also delves into epistemology in political science and the study of democratic governance.

He is a Research Fellow at Université Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis and has spent time studying and researching in various international institutions, including at the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren (Brussels), and the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition, he was a Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Nantes, France during the 2010-2011 session.

A member of several scholarly societies, he is also on the **Executive Committee of the CODESRIA (Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa), and has contributed to numerous publications, including articles in CODESRIA journals and other peer-reviewed academic journals. He has participated in many international academic conferences. His primary research interests include gender studies, democratic governance, and the political economy of natural resource exploitation in conflict-affected regions.
