Fadel Soubiane Bah is a research scholar (historian) whose research focuses on the spiritual and social dynamics of Africa, with a particular emphasis on Sufi Islam. He holds a Ph.D. in Political History and International Relations, specializing in the history of religions. His work examines the intellectual and social heritage of the Tijaniyya order and its contemporary relevance, analyzing how religious faith can serve as a source of unity, resilience, and innovation in the face of Africa’s contemporary challenges. Positioned at the intersection of history, Islamic studies, polemology, and irenology, his scholarship highlights the role of Sufi brotherhoods in social regulation, the construction of communal coexistence, and socio-economic development in African contexts. Engaging in both critical and forward-looking perspectives, his research seeks to articulate connections between Africa’s spiritual heritage and broader global issues.
