Emmanuelle Lavallée has been a lecturer at Paris-Dauphine University since 2008. She is a member of the Laboratoire d'Economie de Dauphine (LEDa, UMR 8007-260) and the DIAL team (Development, Institutions, Mondialisation). Her research interests lie in the fields of development economics and international economics. It covers issues of violence, corruption, democracy, economic history and international trade. Her most recent work focuses on the social and political repercussions of the conflict in Mali and the insecurity of international trade. She is the director of the Master 2 Supply Chain Internationale programme at Paris-Dauphine University.
