Caterina Mazzilli is a Research Officer on migration in the Humanitarian Policy Group at ODI. Caterina’s work focuses on migration decision-making, migration policies, social protection for migrants and in contexts of displacement, the links between migration and development, and the analysis of social protection programmes and policies. Prior to joining ODI, Caterina worked in academia: she conducted her post-doc at Queen Mary University of London between 2019 and 2021 and, in 2019, she completed her PhD in Migration Studies at the University of Sussex. She has published several journal articles, book chapters, blog posts, and reports on various topics in the field of migration.
