Bouchra Sidi-Hida is a senior researcher in the social sciences. She was Programme Officer and Senior Research Programme Officer at Codesria for 6 years. Sidi-Hida has also been a lecturer at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Letters, Mohamed V University and a re-searcher at CERSS, Rabat. Sidi-Hida holds the Euroarab Chair in Social Sciences and Govern-ance at the Euroarab Foundation for Advanced Studies, University of Granada, Spain, and is a research associate at several research centres, including the LPED at the University of Aix Marseille, France. The author of several articles and books, Sidi-Hida is a member of the board of the AISLF and of the scientific committees of the journals Global Africa and Sociolo-gie et sociétés. She is also a member of several international research networks, such as LMI Movida on migration. Bouchra Sidi-Hida holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the Catholic Uni-versity of Louvain (UCL), Belgium.
