Biography
Yassine Ben Mokhtar is a political science researcher and PhD Candidate at the Université Internationale de Rabat (UIR), within the Center for Global Studies. His work, conducted within the Chair on Migrations, Mobilities and Cosmopolitanism, focuses on the analysis of the African migration governance regime. With an international background spanning Morocco, France (Sciences Po Grenoble and Aix) and Russia, he combines academic research with institutional expertise. He has collaborated with IOM as a consultant and with the African Migration Observatory (African Union). His expertise also draws on diplomatic experience (Morocco's Mission to the EU/NATO) and active participation in international networks as a MERCATOR fellow.
