Patrick Belinga Ondoua is a postdoctoral researcher at University of Antwerp and at CERI – Sciences Po Paris. He completed his doctoral thesis at University of Geneva: “Governing Discontent in Cameroon: Housing Policies and the Construction of Hegemony in Yaoundé, 2000–2020.” His research focuses on urban development and the ways in which it shapes state formation and modes of governance in Africa. He also conducts research on forms of writing in the social sciences and their dialogue with cinematic, literary, and artistic registers, through work on filmed representations of social life.
