The chaos of death in the Anthropocene era. Behavioral study when faced with Covid-19 in Médenine, Tunisia

Abstract
At the time of the panic caused by the Covid-19, we remember the article by Norman Lewis entitled “Playing blame on Covid-19 could destroy confidence in science” (2021). We could also claim the historian Judith Rainhorn for her remarks on the adaptation of our world to “legal poisons”. Let’s not forget either the Human Sciences dossier, 2022 entitled “Threatened planet, troubled minds”, which concludes that “human communities pretend to ignore the threats to which they are exposed and the dangers they incur”. These writings echo as we measure the extent of the damage inflicted on the "wall of certainties that blessed globalization and excessive modernity have offered us, but that the Corona pandemic has caused to crumble, thus proving to us that the prophecies have not come true and that fall, ruin and chaos are now possibilities with which it is necessary to compose, within a harsh and painful reality, where waiting constitutes the only horizon and where weariness is the only perspective” (Al-ɛAṭrī, 2022). The announcement of the first official case of Covid-19 dates from January 7, 2020 in China, in the city of Wuhan (Anonymous, 2020a). Subsequently, the pandemic spread with increasing speed, affecting more than 159 states around the world4 and prompting those of the African Union (AU) to introduce draconian health measures, probably inspired by decades of fight against the Ebola outbreaks, particularly in West Africa. Health specialists then considered that the most adequate solution for Africa was probably total sanitary confinement (Boutaleb, 2020).
