Ce grand rendez-vous culturel a vu la participation de 59 artistes visuels et collectifs d\u00b4artistes venus d\u00b4Afrique et de la diaspora. C\u00b4est autour de ces trois concepts : cr\u00e9er, imaginer et inventer que s\u00b4est appuy\u00e9e cette exposition internationale dont le th\u00e8me retenu cette ann\u00e9e, invite \u00e0 fonder un destin commun : \u012a Ndaffa (en S\u00e9r\u00e8re) \/Forger\/Out of the fire.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/www.globalafricasciences.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/biennale.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8986 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p id=\"viewer-798vb\">Forger un nouveau monde<\/p>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-8h3t5\"><\/h6>\n\n<p id=\"viewer-8lee9\">Organis\u00e9e pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 1990, la Biennale de l\u00b4art africain contemporain (Dak\u00b4art) est l\u00b4un des plus grands \u00e9v\u00e8nements culturels africains d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux arts plastiques, au design et aux arts num\u00e9riques. Cette derni\u00e8re (la Biennale), constitue par excellence, le cadre d\u00b4\u00e9changes, d\u00b4exposition, de promotion et de moyen d\u00b4expression pour les acteurs de la culture africaine. C\u00b4est \u00e9galement un espace de rencontre, de collaboration entre acteurs culturels du continent d\u00b4une part et d\u2019autres part, avec ceux des autres continents. D\u2019o\u00f9 le th\u00e8me \u0128 Ndafa qui signifie en s\u00e9r\u00e8re forger. \u00c0 travers ce verbe, l\u2019accent est mis sur la cr\u00e9ation, la malaxation et la fusion. Il s\u2019agit ainsi de faire appel \u00e0 l\u2019esprit d\u2019innovation et de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 des artistes pour cr\u00e9er un nouveau monde.<\/p>\n\n<p id=\"viewer-40p38\">Une s\u00e9lection officielle mettant en lumi\u00e8re diff\u00e9rents artistes venus d\u2019horizons diverses<\/p>\n\n<p id=\"viewer-1o1hb\">Pour cette quatorzi\u00e8me \u00e9dition, les 59 artistes visuels et collectifs retenus pour la s\u00e9lection officielle sont originaires principalement d\u2019Afrique de l\u2019ouest (14 artistes visuels), d\u2019Afrique australe (12 cr\u00e9ateurs), d\u2019Afrique du Nord (6 plasticiens) et d\u2019Afrique centrale et de l\u2019Est (6 artistes). L\u2019oc\u00e9an indien est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par un cr\u00e9ateur Seychellois. Les 19 artistes qui restent sont de la diaspora. En outre, les pays les plus repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s sont entre autres l\u2019Afrique du sud avec huit artistes, le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal avec sept plasticiens, le Cuba avec cinq cr\u00e9ateurs, la France et les Etats-Unis (quatre artistes pour chaque pays). Le B\u00e9nin et le Cameroun quant \u00e0 eux se retrouvent avec trois artistes. Enfin, la Tunisie et le Maroc repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s chacun par deux artistes.<\/p>\n\n<p id=\"viewer-1egf3\">L\u2019\u00e9conomie de l\u2019art mise en avant<\/p>\n\n<p id=\"viewer-2bnh5\">L\u2019\u00e9conomie de l\u2019art est \u00e9galement mise en avant \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de cette quatorzi\u00e8me \u00e9dition. C\u2019est dans cette perspective que s\u2019est tenue, au site du Monument de la Renaissance africaine, la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition officielle du March\u00e9 International de l\u2019Art Africain de Dakar (MIAD) apr\u00e8s celle organis\u00e9e en 2016 par l\u2019artiste plasticien Kalidou KASSE, premier initiateur du projet.
