Cependant, ma soif de voyage m\u2019a rapidement conduit \u00e0 m\u2019installer au B\u00e9nin, o\u00f9 je r\u00e9side depuis six ans. C\u2019est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 mes nombreux voyages en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest que j\u2019ai eu la chance d\u2019exposer mon travail dans plusieurs pays comme la C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, le Ghana, le Nigeria, le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et bien entendu le B\u00e9nin.   <\/span><\/p><p id=\"viewer-7vd0d1518\" class=\"_1LEAZ A-ZZ4 _6Vwzd HjRUP\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"-EZUV _6Vwzd\">Dans cette collection d\u2019\u0153uvres nomm\u00e9e <em>Sunugal,<\/em> signifiant \u00abnotre pirogue\u00bb en wolof, j\u2019ai souhait\u00e9 explorer un \u00e9l\u00e9ment embl\u00e9matique de la culture s\u00e9n\u00e9galaise : la pirogue. Bien plus que de simples embarcations, elles sont des symboles puissants de l\u2019identit\u00e9, de l\u2019histoire et des traditions des communaut\u00e9s c\u00f4ti\u00e8res de ce pays. Chaque pirogue, avec ses peintures aux couleurs vives et ses motifs riches en significations, raconte leurs histoires et a aussi pour but de prot\u00e9ger les p\u00eacheurs des dangers de la mer, d\u2019attirer la chance et de garantir une p\u00eache fructueuse.  <\/span><\/p><p id=\"viewer-3as961520\" class=\"_1LEAZ A-ZZ4 _6Vwzd HjRUP\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"-EZUV _6Vwzd\">C\u2019est \u00e0 travers mes rencontres dans les quartiers de Yoff et de N\u2019gor que j\u2019ai captur\u00e9 les regards et les \u00e9motions d\u2019une communaut\u00e9, faite non seulement de p\u00eacheurs, mais aussi de vendeuses, d\u2019enfants, et de toute cette diversit\u00e9 de personnes qui contribuent \u00e0 la vie du port. Je puise mon inspiration dans mes voyages et mes exp\u00e9riences pour cr\u00e9er des \u0153uvres qui ont pour but de captiver et d\u2019interroger notre regard sur la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Mon parcours artistique est marqu\u00e9 par la curiosit\u00e9 et l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation. En tant qu\u2019autodidacte passionn\u00e9, j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 explorer l\u2019art dans les rues anim\u00e9es de Montpellier, mais c\u2019est \u00e0 Saint-Denis que mes \u0153uvres ont pris tout leur sens. Cependant, ma soif de voyage m\u2019a rapidement conduit \u00e0 m\u2019installer au B\u00e9nin, o\u00f9 je r\u00e9side depuis six ans. C\u2019est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 mes nombreux voyages en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest que j\u2019ai eu la chance d\u2019exposer mon travail dans plusieurs pays comme la C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, le Ghana, le Nigeria, le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et bien entendu le B\u00e9nin. Dans cette collection d\u2019\u0153uvres nomm\u00e9e Sunugal, signifiant \u00abnotre pirogue\u00bb en wolof, j\u2019ai souhait\u00e9 explorer un \u00e9l\u00e9ment embl\u00e9matique de la culture s\u00e9n\u00e9galaise : la pirogue. Bien plus que de simples embarcations, elles sont des symboles puissants de l\u2019identit\u00e9, de l\u2019histoire et des traditions des communaut\u00e9s c\u00f4ti\u00e8res de ce pays. Chaque pirogue, avec ses peintures aux couleurs vives et ses motifs riches en significations, raconte leurs histoires et a aussi pour but de prot\u00e9ger les p\u00eacheurs des dangers de la mer, d\u2019attirer la chance et de garantir une p\u00eache fructueuse. C\u2019est \u00e0 travers mes rencontres dans les quartiers de Yoff et de N\u2019gor que j\u2019ai captur\u00e9 les regards et les \u00e9motions d\u2019une communaut\u00e9, faite non seulement de p\u00eacheurs, mais aussi de vendeuses, d\u2019enfants, et de toute cette diversit\u00e9 de personnes qui contribuent \u00e0 la vie du port. Ces regards et ces moments de vie sont ma source d\u2019inspiration pour mes \u0153uvres. Dans cette s\u00e9rie, je mets en avant des valeurs qui me sont ch\u00e8res : la diversit\u00e9 et la force de l\u2019humanit\u00e9. Mes \u0153uvres sont impr\u00e9gn\u00e9es de cette vision. Elles sont des t\u00e9moignages du monde d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui et une invitation \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir sur notre propre identit\u00e9 et notre place dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, \u00e0 travers ces regards qui ont pour but de transmettre une \u00e9motion. Mon objectif est que chaque pi\u00e8ce transporte le spectateur et ouvre une fen\u00eatre sur les r\u00e9cits et les traditions des communaut\u00e9s c\u00f4ti\u00e8res et celles des p\u00eacheurs du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, qui paraissent \u00e0 la fois tellement loin, mais en m\u00eame temps tr\u00e8s proches de nous.
