Les id\u00e9es et les pratiques d\u2019exclusion fond\u00e9es sur la citoyennet\u00e9 et la nationalit\u00e9 sont devenues des outils par lesquels les \u00c9tats africains contr\u00f4lent parfois les populations et les crises socio-\u00e9conomiques. Les \u00c9tats de la sous-r\u00e9gion ouest-africaine ont pour la plupart h\u00e9rit\u00e9 ces outils des politiques coloniales d\u2019appartenance et les ont depuis lors appliqu\u00e9s \u00e0 toute population pr\u00e9sentant un signe de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9. Cette pratique a atteint son paroxysme en 1983, lorsqu\u2019une crise \u00e9conomique au Nigeria a \u00e9t\u00e9 imput\u00e9e aux immigrants, dont la majorit\u00e9 \u00e9tait originaire du Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>Quelles le\u00e7ons pouvons-nous tirer de ces histoires douloureuses de politiques de repr\u00e9sailles antiimmigr\u00e9s afin de cr\u00e9er en Afrique des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s harmonieuses, pacifiques et accueillantes qui s\u2019opposent \u00e0 toute forme de x\u00e9nophobie ? Dans le cadre de notre travail en cours sur les <a class=\"custom-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mideq.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">migrations pour le d\u00e9veloppement et l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 (MIDEQ)<\/a>, qui couvre plus de 12 pays du Sud, il est devenu tout \u00e0 fait clair que les droits des travailleurs migrants sont r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement bafou\u00e9s dans le monde entier. De nombreux efforts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s pour rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 ces indignit\u00e9s. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019efforts \u00e0 micro-\u00e9chelle, tels que les associations How to cite this paper: Garba, F., (2023). fond\u00e9es sur l\u2019identit\u00e9 que les migrants forment pour lutter contre les nombreuses oppressions auxquelles ils sont confront\u00e9s, d\u2019activit\u00e9s \u00e0 m\u00e9so-\u00e9chelle, telles que la syndicalisation, et d\u2019efforts \u00e0 macro-\u00e9chelle, tels que les protestations. Les citoyens offrent parfois leur soutien \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard, par exemple lorsqu\u2019ils organisent des manifestations au cours desquelles les associations de migrants peuvent exprimer leurs besoins sp\u00e9cifiques et se faire entendre.<\/p>\n<p>Nous trouvons ces formes de solidarit\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement puissantes parce qu\u2019elles reconnaissent l\u2019humanit\u00e9 commune \u00e0 chacun d\u2019entre nous. Qu\u2019il soit citoyen ou migrant, chaque individu poss\u00e8de des droits humains fondamentaux qui doivent \u00eatre respect\u00e9s et promus \u00e0 tout moment. De m\u00eame, le statut de citoyen ne prot\u00e8ge pas contre la condition de citoyen de seconde zone en tant qu\u2019immigr\u00e9. M\u00eame si les individus se trouvent dans leur pays d\u2019origine, dans la mesure o\u00f9 ils peuvent soit migrer un jour, soit avoir des parents qui sont des migrants (potentiels), les besoins des migrants doivent \u00eatre une pr\u00e9occupation pour les citoyens comme pour les migrants. C\u2019est un message que certains groupes comprennent parfaitement, et nous avons voulu inculquer cette vision aux jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. Le quaranti\u00e8me anniversaire de l\u2019\u00e9pisode <i>Ghana must go<\/i> dans l\u2019histoire du Ghana \u00e9tait l\u2019occasion id\u00e9ale de partager ce message.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons voulu revisiter cet \u00e9pisode de l\u2019histoire du Ghana pour en tirer des le\u00e7ons sur la solidarit\u00e9 des migrants et les dangers de la mobilisation anti-migrants. Pour y parvenir de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 laisser une impression durable sur le continent, nous organisons une <a class=\"custom-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/antiquelemonadegallery\/?locale=fr_FR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exposition<\/a> ax\u00e9e sur l\u2019espoir, la communaut\u00e9 et la solidarit\u00e9 transfrontali\u00e8re dans un monde o\u00f9 la migration est criminalis\u00e9e. En un sens, notre intention est d\u2019utiliser diverses formes d\u2019arts et d\u2019<a class=\"custom-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/antiquelemonadegallery\/?locale=fr_FR&amp;_rdc=2&amp;_rdr#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">expositions<\/a>, l\u2019histoire et la recherche afin de combattre un sentiment anti-immigrant croissant au Ghana ainsi que dans d\u2019autres parties de l\u2019Afrique. des Nig\u00e9rians du Ghana. Les id\u00e9es et les pratiques d\u2019exclusion fond\u00e9es sur la citoyennet\u00e9 et la nationalit\u00e9 sont devenues des outils par lesquels les \u00c9tats africains contr\u00f4lent parfois les populations et les crises socio-\u00e9conomiques. Les \u00c9tats de la sous-r\u00e9gion ouest-africaine ont pour la plupart h\u00e9rit\u00e9 ces outils des politiques coloniales d\u2019appartenance et les ont depuis lors appliqu\u00e9s \u00e0 toute population pr\u00e9sentant un signe de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9. Cette pratique a atteint son paroxysme en 1983, lorsqu\u2019une crise \u00e9conomique au Nigeria a \u00e9t\u00e9 imput\u00e9e aux immigrants, dont la majorit\u00e9 \u00e9tait originaire du Ghana. Quelles le\u00e7ons pouvons-nous tirer de ces histoires douloureuses de politiques de repr\u00e9sailles antiimmigr\u00e9s afin de cr\u00e9er en Afrique des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s harmonieuses, pacifiques et accueillantes qui s\u2019opposent \u00e0 toute forme de x\u00e9nophobie ? Dans le cadre de notre travail en cours sur les migrations pour le d\u00e9veloppement et l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 (MIDEQ), qui couvre plus de 12 pays du Sud, il est devenu tout \u00e0 fait clair que les droits des travailleurs migrants sont r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement bafou\u00e9s dans le monde entier. De nombreux efforts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s pour rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 ces indignit\u00e9s. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019efforts \u00e0 micro-\u00e9chelle, tels que les associations How to cite this paper: Garba, F., (2023). fond\u00e9es sur l\u2019identit\u00e9 que les migrants forment pour lutter contre les nombreuses oppressions auxquelles ils sont confront\u00e9s, d\u2019activit\u00e9s \u00e0 m\u00e9so-\u00e9chelle, telles que la syndicalisation, et d\u2019efforts \u00e0 macro-\u00e9chelle, tels que les protestations. Les citoyens offrent parfois leur soutien \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard, par exemple lorsqu\u2019ils organisent des manifestations au cours desquelles les associations de migrants peuvent exprimer leurs besoins sp\u00e9cifiques et se faire entendre. Nous trouvons ces formes de solidarit\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement puissantes parce qu\u2019elles reconnaissent l\u2019humanit\u00e9 commune \u00e0 chacun d\u2019entre nous. Qu\u2019il soit citoyen ou migrant, chaque individu poss\u00e8de des droits humains fondamentaux qui doivent \u00eatre respect\u00e9s et promus \u00e0 tout moment. De m\u00eame, le statut de citoyen ne prot\u00e8ge pas contre la condition de citoyen de seconde zone en tant qu\u2019immigr\u00e9. M\u00eame si les individus se trouvent dans leur pays d\u2019origine, dans la mesure o\u00f9 ils peuvent soit migrer un jour, soit avoir des parents qui sont des migrants (potentiels), les besoins des migrants doivent \u00eatre une pr\u00e9occupation pour les citoyens comme pour les migrants. C\u2019est un message que certains groupes comprennent parfaitement, et nous avons voulu inculquer cette vision aux jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. Le quaranti\u00e8me anniversaire de l\u2019\u00e9pisode Ghana must go dans l\u2019histoire du Ghana \u00e9tait l\u2019occasion id\u00e9ale de partager ce message. Nous avons voulu revisiter cet \u00e9pisode de l\u2019histoire du Ghana pour en tirer des le\u00e7ons sur la solidarit\u00e9 des migrants et les dangers de la mobilisation anti-migrants. Pour y parvenir de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 laisser une impression durable sur le continent, nous organisons une exposition ax\u00e9e sur l\u2019espoir, la communaut\u00e9 et la solidarit\u00e9 transfrontali\u00e8re dans un monde o\u00f9 la migration est criminalis\u00e9e. En un sens, notre intention est d\u2019utiliser diverses formes d\u2019arts et d\u2019expositions, l\u2019histoire et la recherche afin de combattre un sentiment anti-immigrant croissant au Ghana ainsi que dans d\u2019autres parties de l\u2019Afrique.
